We found a boutique hotel that is beautiful and they have given us a special rate of only $129 per night for a room (with two queen beds for two nights - the 25th & 26th.

The best part of this is a breakfast at Ricks' Restaurant (perhaps only one where breakfast is included) and there is a Buzz Trolley stop right in front of the hotel.

Gennette's mother at this time only been able to reserve 15 rooms (nine have been reserved), once those have been filled, we hope to reserve more. To make your reservations, give the hotel a call and tell them the rooms are held under “Zimmer-Detwiler wedding.”

The BUZZ trolley runs Thursday through Sunday from 11 am to 1 am. This FREE travel option goes in a loop around Palm Springs and it takes one hour to go all the way around the loop.

There is a stop both in front of The Monroe and in front of Spencer’s Restaurant. It would probably take 20-25 minutes to go from The Monroe to Spencer’s.
To go from Spencer’s back to The Monroe would probably be 40-45 minutes because you have to go all the way around the loop. If you take the trolley at Spencer’s and get off at the next stop and walk from Baristo/North Palm Canyon to Baristo/Indian which is only a block or so, you can catch the trolley going north and that would cut down the time to 20 to 25 minutes to get back to The Monroe.
