Dr. iur. Gabriela Steier, LL.M., Esq., is a lawyer, scholar, and the founder of Food Law International.  She is also an author of books such as:

• Environmental Resilience and Food Law

• Advancing Food Integrity: GMO Regulation, Agroecology, and Urban Agriculture

 

Dr. Steier is Founder of Food Law International (FLI) and a well-known food law and policy scholar in Boston. She is an attorney and focuses on food safety, policy, animal welfare and GMO issues domestically and in the European Union. She teaches part-time at Northeastern University and is a prolific writer. Her work has been on Amazon's Hot Lists among the Top 20 and on SSRN's Top Ten Lists for several months.
